We stayed for a week and loved the stunning beach view from our room and the awesome ceviche at the Charaboya restaurant! The entertainment shows were a blast, too.

The beach was fantastic with plenty of clean sand. My niece loved the unique sun lounging area that had cozy hammocks and the pool was a hit with the kids. Our favorite part was the stunning ocean view from our room.

In my wife’s opinion, better food choices for kids would be great.

The room was super clean and had great amenities like air conditioning, a minibar, and a flat-screen TV. The pools were nice but only two were open. The beach was pristine and well-kept. The bartenders were friendly and made some delicious drinks for us. There were plenty of activities at the pool, but the dining experience could be better.

i had an amazing nine-night stay at occidental! the ocean front premium level room offered the best view of the caribbean sea. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. i particularly appreciated the private check-in. plus, there's a small mall nearby for shopping, making it super convenient!

The food was consistently good, particularly the fruit salads and lunch offerings like roast chicken, which stood out as a must-try. Staff were friendly at every turn and exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, especially for our anniversary. However, the bar experience left much to be desired. top-shelf liquor was unavailable despite the paid upgrade, leaving us feeling less than 'VIP'. Overall, the beachfront and lovely outdoor areas made up for these shortcomings.

The themed dinners were a blast, especially the evening entertainment with live performances. So much fun, felt like a VIP!
